About

The Climate and Sustainability Initiative (CSI) registered in Singapore, is an international organisation dedicated to the crucial task of decarbonising the economies of Asia and Africa. CSI’s primary focus involves conducting comprehensive research and implementing strategic programs within the power, transport, industrial, and financial sectors. Our efforts will be instrumental in facilitating funding mechanisms that drive the transition toward sustainability

CSI’s work is broadly focused on solution design, development, and implementation, supporting pilots on the ground for the broader adoption of technologies and solutions, etc. Beyond these aspects, on a need basis, around the gaps identified, the development and housing of implementation support facilities and programs aimed at helping underserved stakeholders in their decarbonisation journey is the modus operandi.

We are looking for a passionate Graphic Design Associate to join this new venture! If you have a flair for design, a keen eye for detail, and a love for crafting engaging visuals across platforms, this role is for you.

Reporting to
Media & Communications Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Creatives:
– Collaborate to brainstorm and execute fresh ideas for posts, stories, reels, and campaigns
– Design engaging visuals for social media handles and emerging platforms  that align with brand identity and content strategies

Brainstorm Social Media Ideas:
– Contribute innovative design concepts to elevate brand engagement on social platforms
– Stay updated on design trends and incorporate them into projects to keep content fresh and competitive

Reports & Presentations:
– Develop consistent branding elements across all collateral
– Create visually appealing and professional graphs and layouts for reports, efficient in data visualisation for presentations, and other internal and external documents

Website Newsletter Design:
– Ensure designs are optimized for web performance and mobile responsiveness
– Assist in designing compelling newsletters and updating graphics to enhance the user experience

Video Editing:
 – Ability to create and edit videos on Canva Pro for the social media platforms of the brand

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the associate should be prepared, as needed, to take on additional responsibilities and respond to unexpected events and developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field

Work Experience & Skills

  • Requirement of 1-2 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in design tools (like Adobe Photoshop, Canva Pro)
  • Strong ability to simplify data through compelling visual formats, including charts and infographics
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends is highly preferred
  • A creative portfolio showcasing relevant work in social media design, reports, or presentations
