Dr Dhruba is a Sustainable Development and Climate Finance Expert with over 30 years of experience in International Development, Management Consulting, Financial Advisory, Research, and Public Policy. He is a Senior Adviser with Climate and Sustainability Initiative (CSI), and he currently advises international development consultants, think tanks, and research institutions, and teaches climate finance and economics at management schools in India.
He has worked with leading international and Indian non-profits/think tanks and MDBs in climate, energy transition and sustainability, such as Climate Policy Initiative, CEEW and with The World Bank Group. Dhruba has been leading various Sustainable, Climate and Transition Finance initiatives in India for MoF, Niti Aayog over the last five years. Dhruba is an Engineer, MBA from IIM Calcutta and has a PhD from IIT Delhi.
