Nusrat serves as the Head of Strategy at CSI where he works at the critical intersection of finance and human capital to address the most urgent challenges posed by climate change. With over eight years of experience in commercial banking and people strategy, Nusrat brings a unique perspective that blends financial acumen with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics. Nusrat has held key positions at leading public sector banks such as Bank of Baroda and State Bank of India, as well as at the prominent think tank CEEW. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed high-value projects, scaled up organizations, and facilitated credit for those in need. These experiences have equipped him with the ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage complex projects, and foster innovation across diverse sectors.

Nusrat holds an MBA from the prestigious XLRI, Jamshedpur, complemented by international exposure at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. He also holds a BTech and post graduate diploma in banking and finance. This diverse academic background has further enriched his strategic approach, enabling him to think globally while acting locally.

Outside of work, Nusrat is an avid football enthusiast and a passionate traveler. He enjoys exploring new cultures and landscapes, believing that these experiences provide fresh perspectives and inspiration for his professional endeavors.
